Weighed down with a head cold while traveling, this Pasty Shop at Victorian Station was a beacon of hope. (Me)

Transferring trains at Liverpool Street Station is a great time to make a pit stop. (Brigid Brown)

While deathly ill (slight exaggeration) I still had my sense of humor and turned to the man next to me, "Real live pasties in person." I was a little shy to take snaps out and about. (Me again)

 

Menu: The savory pies are filled with an assortment of ingredients including the traditional Cornish pasty stuffed with skirt beef and potatoes, the steak and stilton, chicken and bacon, pork and apple, and lamb and minted peas.
